Where are you getting it? Which strength for which application?
What kind are you getting? and last but not least. How are you tying loops into the ends?

Fun with Wind also has bulk line.
For my fixed bridle kites I like 150 - 220# on the brake lines and 300 - 500# on the power lines. Lifty kites get stonger power lines.
I sleeve the lines and secure with a figure of eight knot.
There are sleeving tutorials you can find if you google the topic.
Don't forget to prestretch the heck out of your lines if you are doing your own. Ideally to 1/2 the break strength (tough on 300 - 500 pound power
lines).

We also carry bulk line in both Shanti and Laser Pro Gold. We also carry bulk line in Q-power from 200# up to 600#. We also carry sleeving kits
(spleevers) and sleeving material in bulk.
We can make custom line sets in any length and weight, just give us a call.

I believe that I read that the Q Powerline does not need to be sleeved (a pain in the rear) and I have seen that in big bulk spools. It would be my
preference if I were doing the bulk thing, but the only set that I have is rather bulky, and heavier than any of my other lines.
