Pansh Racekite - its getting nearer ...

andya - 1-7-2008 at 02:25 AM

Its still in the Prototype stage, but photos of the W5-3 and W5-4 are up on the Panshkite website.

The Proto testing team have been hard at work over the past few months and can confirm the latest W5's are both fast and powerful ...

... its all just so exciting!

I hope they did not make it twitchy like the ace and legend. I wouldn't want a twitchy racekite .don't get me wrong I like my panshes but they do not fly half as well as my flexifoils. when I'm doin 40 across the beach, I don't need a kite that wants to luff, lag, or stall. So I'm keeping my eye on the blurr

COOL

Who can we get Demos from ?

Oh that's right ! We will have to count on the kindness of a member to "pass the pansh".:megan:

WELDNGOD - 1-7-2008 at 10:32 AM

a fly before ya buy would be great:thumbup:

Agreed about Flexifoils. I recently flew my Blade IV 4.9 and it was a joy to fly!

Someone on the panshforum won a prototype of it for winning a kite design competition, so maybe you know, make some new friends.....:)

SCREWYFITS - 1-7-2008 at 06:32 PM

Looks like new handles also... I hope I hope I hope... #@%$#! I'll buy one if they are dirt cheep like the rest...

NPWfever - 1-7-2008 at 06:36 PM

But you make ur super magic handles? Why buy Pansh? Like even if the new Pansh handles get an B+ your handles are like an A+, ur rock! I still want to know that secret feature too.....:P

Wouldn't it be like ironic if Pansh had a picture on their site of them flying with like Flexi handles or something, lol

SCREWYFITS - 1-7-2008 at 09:09 PM

Thats funny...
I'd just like to see them provide a better handle than the current handle...
The secret feature will be out soon... stay tuned...

I have no idea what the big secret function of the handles are, but if they have anything to do with a better way to wind up the strings after a session, I'm all over it, if it's not, then I am going to make my own "secret feature" :P

DAKITEZ - 1-7-2008 at 09:55 PM

screwy does have a better way to put the lines away, but its not the secret feature. Its posted some where on the forum .. his modified version of parapacking .. and I must say it works great and is faster and easier than stuffing the lines in the bag.
Screwys mind is always in high gear when it comes to mods

SCREWYFITS - 2-7-2008 at 03:04 PM

Thanx Dlish...

Hey 2stix check out radsail's new end cap line management get up... its at www dot eolo dot com and follow the traction kites link... then I believe they have photos in there kite sections... kinda neet they are trying to improve all our kiting experiences...

Bladerunner - 3-7-2008 at 09:12 AM

I have the end cap system

The grooves aren't near deep enough. I can't wrap my longer lines up without ending up wrapping around the handles in the end. I don't use them anymore.

2stix - 3-7-2008 at 09:44 AM

I found the link to the handles and my first thought was cool! Then as I looked a little closer at the picture I had the same thought as bladerunner. The idea is solid though, and I may use the concept to create caps that would work for me.
I tried Parapacking last night and have yet to open it up again, but even if it works, it feels like it takes forever compaired to wrapping lines. I can wrap my Scout's line around the bar as fast as I can walk towards the kite.
