Seeing plenty of posts for stickers and such, I decided to write this up on how to make decent looking stickers.
You will need:
-Photo paper and a quality printer. (Kinkos has plenty)
-High quality image file.
-Packaging Tape
-Carpet Tape (it is a wide, double sided tape. Its in the hardware store.)
-Exacto Knife
-Wax Paper
It is really simple, print yourself out a nice, high quality image of your favorite brand / shop / dictator / politician, etc. Lay the image face up,
and cut of slices of packaging tape that will coat the front of the image. Take your time, and cover the image as cleanly as possible. Use an exacto
knife to get rid of excess tape, do not fold it behind the image. Next, layout some wax paper. Cut off enough carpet tape that will cover the back
side of the image, and stick it on the wax paper. Line up your image, and press it into the carpet tape. Again, use the exacto knife to cut away
excess carpet tape and wax paper. Now you have a custom sticker that is ready water proof, and ready to go. Just peel off the wax paper, and apply.
Hope this helps people, and if you make stickers, share the results with us!
