The Berkeley Kite Fest is coming up on the 26th & 27th of this month.

Couldn't you TOTALLY modify that to make it look like he's flying a kite in a buggy? :P Haha.

I rode buggies at Berkley once with christoph, Dave S., Brian and Heather S. Very nice terrain on the Nw corner near the water!:thumbup:

Nice single line kite event. Sadly last year there was no field to buggy so I was the only one guy kiting in very NW side on few little hills Eli is talking about.In 2006 We had worst location ever- very east part of the park with lame and gusty winds.On top of that last few years surface got worst as it become super bumpy and not much fun to ride. Make sure You get Your kids to this site as it is probably most kites in the air You'll ever see.

Leaving in a few hours and staying at some friends house. I will be there tommorow for sure, but not sure about sunday unless I can talk the wife into staying another night :smug:

The wind is here (Berkely) today lets hope its here tommorow as well. I watched the rev team practice for awhile .. they are amazing and a joy to watch. Hope to see some of you here tommorow ... Get here early parking is going to suck !!!

Well, What a great time I had with my family at the Berkeley kite fest!! we all loved it. Good food good times for all. So many kites in the air. It was great. Not to many power kites But that was ok, DAKITES and I were just about the only ones with power kites. Dakites was there sporting his Ozones He is getting pretty good with that little Sami. Man was it packed! It took us over an hour to park and get there (shuttled in). Thousands of people!! Go early or you will deal with lots of traffic. The police were everywhere. The first time we tried to get in they said there was no parking within walking distance!! Then I got frustrated and said hell with the cops were getting in! We went back and sat in line again and finally got a spot about 2 miles away from the park. But we got in. I got to fly the Blade a little right off the Ocean. A couple small jumps and the crowd was on! It was great. The wind did not stay strong enough to jump for long thank God Because I had not flown for over two mo. and I was wiped out and sun burt. All in all Great time! Go if you can. Dakites, Did you stay for sun. Too? I owe you a kite stake. Thanks I could not have got in the air without it.:thumbup: BERKELEY KITE FEST!!:singing:

definately a good time. Next year I will have a room at the hotel across the street. That will elimate any of the traffic and if the family needs a break they can go crash in the room. I got there around 9:30 and there was no traffic and I got a decent park.
Definately the most kites in the sky that I have ever seen. Rev was giving demo's and I got to play with one of those. I will be ordering a few of those tommorow :thumbup:

I had left my phone in the car. And I went down by the water over the hill and was flying the Blade you missed it. Sorry I missed you guys. I didnt even get to say bye. The kids were totally wiped out when we left. The we went to pier 39. I didn't even get home until 2 am.:o Keep ordering up those kites bro. I will be in your lap as soon as the wind starts blowing! You are getting more kites than we have wind to fly in! When we first started this thing we use to say we need to get one of these to try. And now there is so many to try We couldnt do it in a day!! Maybe with me you and screwey We could get some good reviews on most of them. Cant wait. Call before you go. Both messages you left me I could not here because of wind or people it was all static.
