Guys this is my first post and need some insight. I am interested in the 6m Ace or 7m Blaze II. Since it doesnt come with lines or bar, I was
wondering if I can use my lines and bar for my slingshot T2 11m instead of buying new ones. Or how about the bar and line for a 7m Cabrinha Co2
(bladder is popped).
Any suggestions?
Thanx,
Alex

Ive heard the Ace doesnt like being on a bar so that may help you a little

Also, the Ace isn't a depower kite so that depower bar wouldn't work for it in any case.

The bar would work with the Blaze II as it is depowerable. However, I'm not too sure your best bet for a DP Foil would be the Blaze II. Look somewhere
else other than Pansh for that. HQ, Flexifoil or Ozone are your most ideal choices.

Baluk - 27-7-2008 at 04:41 PM
Nope. Just from what i remember hearing though. Have you?

7m blaze II ... love it
not trying to say its better than a access, but its a solid kite.
Lets remember we can't always believe what we read. I would of read your post and thought you flew one, so you would of been talking from experience,
but you were just passing along something you read and no personal experience. I've flown it .. I like it .. I'll stand by it. Sure my opinion might
be taken litely by some because I sell them, but I also sell montana III and I can't recommend it, because I didn't care for it. All in all these are
just my opinions.

Ah I see. Just curious, have you ever flown another depower? How do you think it compares?

Dakitez,
Question still remains can i use my lines and bar from my SS T2 bow kite on a blaze II 7m?

i'm not familiar with that bar. I have used a naish ( I think ) and a standard bar i got from powerzone. The kite liked them both. You don't need alot
of depower movement on the bar approx. 12 inches of movement will work. Like I said the kite is not picky so about any standard depower bar should
work.

Hey all, let me pipe in here... I'll second Dakitez opinions on the Blaze II and the Montana III... as far as the bars go I'll bet they will work with
lil or no tweaking... adjustments will be needed based on the differences of kites... The bar that DAKITEZ used was a "Best" bar and "standard bar i
got from powerzone" and both needed very little adjustments... I'd like to see someone like me :D add a 2:1 pulley to the bar for this kite... My
opinion the Blaze II turns slow for me the 2:1 pulley would dial this kite in to my liking... I think I disagree with DAKITEZ on the distance of bar
travel for the depower, I would suggest less than 12" travel more like 8-10" and less yet with a 2:1 getup... the idea of DAKITEZ was there with low
bar travel and you might be able to get more with different bars... I have to admit the Blaze II is not the best depower foil on the market but I
could argue its the best for the $$$... I'm unsure but I think they come with lines??? but any good strength line set would work fine... and as for my
credentials go, I've flown a Blaze II 7m, Montana III 7m, Access 9m (I think it was a 9m) and inflatable depowers Helix 9m, Boxer 9m and a ARX 11.5m
and I can tell you the depower on inflatables is a different animal... I'm in search of a foil or closed cell depower that really performs with huge
depower range similar to inflatables... the depowers really come to life once they get moving, like buggy, land boards...
Good luck too you... and safe flying...
