Flying the other day with DAKITEZ,SCREWYFITS,And 4 others Sorry bad with names) Was Great! We All had so many kites laid out all over the place. It was like (What do I want to fly next?) Buggying all over the place. Static jumping going on from every angle. I got to try De-Power for the first time. The Blaze 2 10m, 6m Ozone Acess, I got to try the 6.5 Crossfire. There were at least 3 good quivers on the ground and as always everone was willing to help and share. I had a blast. The De-Power I am going to have to get use to to get the most out of them. But it was new and I loved it. Maybe Screwy can post up some pics from that day. Cant wait to do it again Thanks everyone for a good time.

M jealous LOL all i ever get to try is some older gentelman's New revolution kites at the park. he's the only other person thats at the park when the wind is blowing........except for the walmart kites and a giant alligator, ghost, and scuba diver in the sky :smug: I could just go to Newport RI there's some landboarders there, but they are just too good and i would feel like a clown and would prob ram my kite into one of there's. I see videos online of so many people out and about on buggys and boards and i always wonder how they don't crash into each other they seem to be flying so close to each other. I get all nervous if some bystander walks inbetween me and the kite downwind. I know they don't know any better. so i just wait, they seem to walk slower and wonder why i am staring at them. LOL

DITTO, you guys got it made:wink2:

BeamerBob - 30-7-2008 at 07:49 PM

My gosh what a field! The wind must be almost coastal quality there with no obstructions. Add to that the group having lots to try out makes it even better. I hope someday, my travels take me out there to see family so I can get out to fly with you guys someday. I have 3 different families of in-laws in the bay area and walnut grove. Someday it'll work out.

SCREWYFITS - 30-7-2008 at 11:47 PM

It is a god sent blessing to be able to use this field... :saint:

BB you got it right with the coastal winds comment, it makes the learning curve so much steeper (faster)...
This place is literally Disneyland for Kiters... :singing:
DAKITEZ and I have been there close to a dozen times and we always leave there like a giddy little school girl that just got a date with the varsity quarterback...

If anyone comes to Nor-Cal (bay area) let us know we could probably squeeze you in for a session, I think we need to keep the head count down till we find out more about how the manager feels about it... so far they seem to care less about a few of us, its funny when we leave late (8:30 PM or so) we find they had left us there after they went home for the day... :D:D:D

We are defiantly blessed, I can understand DAKITEZ deserves this kind of blessing, but I don't know what I've ever done to deserve this... It's Fantabulious!!!

Thank You GOD!!!:saint:

BeamerBob - 31-7-2008 at 04:05 AM

As long as you leave nothing but tracks that the sprinklers erase, they shouldn't mind your presence there. If you aren't causing harm to their crop and livelihood and seem to be gracious and appreciative, you will continue to have a great situation. Do you have to avoid it when the grass is wet or is that an issue?

SCREWYFITS - 31-7-2008 at 10:07 AM

We usually call ahead or email them to find where we can fly or if there is any limitations...
The photo where you can see down the whole field is apx 1/15 of the whole farm... so there is always a field to fly...:D

Sthrasher38 - 31-7-2008 at 04:17 PM

The wind was very good there. The field was a little wet in spots but it did not hurt the grass any. It was good for a quick misting though. I think we all had wet bottoms before it was all over. Bladerunner, Very good observation on the growth of the Nor-Cal crew. We got love for ya. Even if you did call us Dragabouts. I will be on that 50mph club come Nabx this year. All I have to do is stay alive. But for now I am back! Thanks Screwy for putting up pics.

Bladerunner - 31-7-2008 at 06:23 PM

Right then, a scattered bunch of Pendulam Jumpers. :borg: If you want to think more highly of your beginings :frog:
