ive asked all these questions about kite redirection, technique etc... a solid sea breeze makes all the difference in the worldfurbowski - 1-8-2008 at 06:42 PM
yep, it does, I've missed having clean onshore for a couple months now, it's a pain having to fly carefully because of gusts and wiggly winds -- did
you get a few smooth jumps in, then?windsurfslice - 2-8-2008 at 06:40 AM
yeah i normally fly in really puffy thin air filling in behind cold fronts all winter bundled up in my heavy clothes...last week we had strong SE
18kts+ at the beach and I was running in my bathing suit with my 4.9blade doing jumps Id only dreamed about and coming down without killing myself.
it was really awesome and i didnt have to ice my knees like normal when that kite drops me out of the sky after a gust jacks me up and a lull drops me
down. it was real funlunchbox - 2-8-2008 at 07:57 AM
yeah, nothing like ocean wind....I've heard there's actually places where the wind is so constant that the wind only changes 1 or 2mph during a
session...I can only image how awesome that would be!Jack1988 - 10-8-2009 at 12:10 PM
