MBS Ambush warrior

stetson05 - 9-8-2008 at 07:43 PM

I found a MBS Ambush Warrior for sale locally. I searched and can't find anything about it. It would be my first board. Can anyone tell me anything about it. I am 5'6" and about 170lbs

Hey Stetson,

It was an entry level board w/ 8" wheels and skate trucks. They rated it up to 190 lbs. MBS replaced it with the Atom 95X.

How much are they asking?

Man - you guys are quick! Beat me to it...

That's the exact board I'm currently using. It's been a great board. Sturdy and not TOO heavy, but not super lightweight. I found mine used on craigslist for less than 100 bux.

First thing I did was remove the brake setup and loosen up the bindings a little so I can get my feet out quick if I needed. Only prob I've had so far was that I had to replace the bushings in the trucks with new ones. No biggie tho, bushings for regular skate trucks work perfect.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Thanks for the info. Sorry I should have been more specific, I couldn't find it on the MBS website but could on mbtz.

I guess I am spoiled because everyone gives such good and quick info. I was worried I was going to get something that everyone else knew wouldn't be any good.

It is $100.00 on Craigs list but not local. I am looking to see if they will ship it. I have been watching them on ebay for a while and $100.00 didn't seem too bad for a MBS product.

U2U resent. Hope it works this time. I assume condition of the board is good.

The board is fine the only problem that you might run into is some rusted screws nuts and bolts from riding it on the beach but a little wd 40 always works.
If you ever come down to sunset beach I could just meet you there and trade for cash! with no shipping.
I'll send you a u2u because you can't seem to spell my username correctly
