I'm looking into water kites and want to know what you guys think is a good kite for the money

soooo soooo subjective... i can't vote :)
I like all.... for me.....
Flysurfer for low wind
Hybrids for medium wind
Cs/Arcs for nuclear wind

Best Kites like the Waroo have a reputation for being good for the money and are popular on our beach.

Kinda like asking which model car is better, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota...etc...

I'm more of a freestyle landboarder if that helps

Pulse for your first FSer
Bularoo or Waroo for inflatable
C kite after you've had time with a bow/sle, make sure its a 5 liner! Slingshot makes a great kite but it can be a handful..................

If today is a precursor of things to come add the PL Scorpion in there with the Pulse as a first H2O foil. wow!! The auto zenith is ridiculous.........

Good to see you around Tridude! Give us the scoop on the Scorpian! Any trouble self launching??

“A good kite for the money”

The answer to that question is a Bow hands down
I bought a 06 turbo diesel for $250 complete
I paid 375 for my 11m Ozone Instinct
Foils are great but you can get a Bow that will do the same job for less $$$$

self launching was a snap. There was plenty of wind for pre inflation (beach winds ENE @17 kts). Downwind lines placed in the launch assist tabs. A couple tugs on the downwind lines and a few steps back and up she went. Not all that different from self launching my Bularoo with a tip sanded down. Interested in a fly? Shoot me a U2U and Ill send her your way in a couple weeks.
