So I'm thinking of picking up a used snowboard rig to try it out this winter. What should I be looking for? What length, width, shape, binding setup
etc? Do you ride with the bindings set perpendicular or duck stance like a kiteboard? Any insight would be appreciated. I have a sneaking suspicion

I was going to start a new "what snowboard" thread for this season but you beat me to the punch!
I think that you want to look for a board with low side cut (all mountain type board, not halfpipe/freestyle). As for bindings I think you can use
standard bindings but that "Flow" type bindings are the best because you can step into them. So you can launch the kite and then step into your
board. This might not be a big deal with your PL's and the autozenith :frog: but I think you'd have a hard time using both hands on the bindings
while flying the Access.

Here is a sick looking snowkite board from Nobile.
Also if you click the Effect bindings on the left that is their rebadged version of the Flow bindings.
I found one other company making a snowkite board so far (plus the Twisted board which is in another thread). I can't find any information on these

As far as used boards I forgot to mention that I think it's pretty important to look for a true twintip.
It seems like some snowboard companies would be making a kite specific board rather than just the kite companies. Since they are the ones with the
board technology and know how and just need to adapt the board shape to kiting. If anyone knows of a snowboard company that makes a good board for

In Quebec, for sure, snowkiting is quite popular and much fun. come see us this winter at KiteProject nearby Montreal. Always around 50 snowkiters and more on windy days or events.
