or do you think it would work

kiteon - 27-9-2008 at 06:14 PM

i want to play in the deep sand, what about a board with a couple of rails on each side so you get an edge?

burritobandit - 27-9-2008 at 08:07 PM

It'd probably work. Looks a lot like snowkiting to me.

Florence has a sandboard park. I think they are having a sale on all their board it's the end of the season.
I think the resistance might be much for flat sand and a kite.

There was a post on "other kite traction sports" portion of this forum about it. You would need lots of soft sand... hard-pack would work so well, I think.

"ONE MEELYUN DOLLARS!" actually it's priceless. It's a one off, there will be no more. unless someone plies me w/ liquor and money( apply generously) :lol:I decided to go around the ends w/ tubing also but I used 1/8" stainless gage line instead of the 1/2 ".
