Hey guys and Girls,
after 4 years of being out of the sport (due to living in the city) i have decided to get back into it and purchased a 3.5 Flexifoil Rage. It is 0.5m
larger than my old Kite which was some cheap one that prob wasnt too good.
Is there anyone out there with experience of the 3.5 Rage for landboarding? There is reduced lift with this kite, but is it possible to get airborn in
around 15mph winds on a board? My thoughts were that it is slightly larger than my previous kite so it would be good, and as its a flexifoil they have
good reputation for power. I bought this kite spur of the moment really, just looking for some reassurance!
cheers
Tony

You may be able to get a hop out of it but depending on your size not much in the way of air and not much float if you do get up in the air. It's a
good kite to get boarding with though. If you want air you're going to want a blade or something with more lift. But since you are just getting back
into the sport sounds like a good choice. Congrats.

The rage is a great kite... I live inland, and with the weird gusty, shifty winds, I can always count on it to fly. I have the 4.7 and 6.0... and like
them both. The 6 can pick me up in the right winds (I weigh 190), but I would imagine with a 3.5 the winds would need to be really high, and it is not
advised to jump with a kite smaller than 5 meters.
You made a good choice on the kite.

I have a Rage 3.5 and it is a great kite. It is my high-winds kite of choice - stable and easy to fly with lots of power for its size. It is
deliberatly a low lift kite that gets its power down low in the window, so don't count on jumping, especially with that size.
