do a search for "zero prestige"....

a few good plans and info on there for folks making plyboards on a budget!

not that I know what I'm talking about, I just started bodydragging and need to get a harness so i can get going on dragging upwind.... But I like the zero money zero prestige mindset of these guys!

Ask Tridude here about his plywood board with fins of PVC pipe.

My friend has probably made over 100 ply boards over the years. He has the technique down. If your interested in one let me know and I can get you his contact info.

Here's a pic of one of my friends early plyboards. He does all kinds of colors and a bunch of shapes.

Yup, a plyboard is all you need. The paint was the most expensive part but now I have enough to do many boards. I followed the Instructables Kiteboard plans for the zero prestige board. instructables.com

old picture..........carpet replaced with wood flooring, and oak stairs. I used the Spleene session dimensions 141x44. Great board that cost about $70 total.

I had to check....thought maybe you had carpet foot pads and replaced them with hardwood. The stairs really had me perplexed ; )

pipes work on the same principle as the turbo tunnel surf fins..............total cost was about $25.......same dimensions as the Spleene door, sweet low wind board................

tri-that gold kitesurfer looks great! I would love to ride side by side with that kite flying. Gotta come down here or meet 1/2 way up in GA or Jacksonville or St. Augustine.
