Wow. No better way to put it. It arrived in the mail today after less than a week in transit from the UK. I ordered it from powerkiteshop.com and the
transaction and delivery was smooth as silk.
Then I get the DVD open and to my surprise there's TWO! Two volumes which I'm sure are both brimming with info. I fired the first one up immediately
and to my disappointment it wouldn't play on the DVD player despite the claims that it "Plays in all regions" as printed on the disc. And it's not our
player - we won a top of the line player in a lottery here a few months ago so she's as tricked out as could be.
Not a huge loss, I learned this lesson with Drill 1 so off to the computer I go.
Well, I couldn't take my eyes off of it. The production values are way high on this thing and it (the first disc anyway) is all organized more like a
website than a DVD. The info is solid and the footage superb. The first DVD has 7 sections (5 or 6 kite specific - the other is sound track stuff).
1 - Kites
2 - Buggies
3 - Boards (land)
4 - Inline Boards
5 - Buggy Bike
6 - Team Riders
Within each of these sections are more and within each of the subsections, even more. It's amazing. I'm barely halfway through the buggy section and
floored by all I've seen and learned. If I had to list a negative it's that so far they've focused a lot of the visual time (almost all) on the
vehicle itself but they explain everything three or four times, usually once in slow motion and then highlight common errors and fixes.
So, to illustrate the depth of this thing I started the Buggy section in the User Guide subsection which is general info about the buggies and all the
different types. The next subsection is Buggy Basics and includes getting started, moving, stopping, turning upwind and downwind and riding in
reverse. (All of these sub-sub sections can be directly jumped to from the menu so if yo're just working on reverse riding you can review that over
and over without having to watch / FFWD through the section.) After that you can head to the Flatland subsection which I just finished watching and
stopped to post this. It details with enough info to get you out trying the moves; front to back transitions, two wheeling, wheel slap, two wheel
downwind turns, two wheel upwind 360, flat 360's, front and backside, 720's the same and back wheel transitions.
Still to come in the buggy section alone: the Aerial subsection which says it contains ramps, 360's, kiteloops, no handers and more.
GET THIS DVD! If these first few sections are any indication this may be the BEST purchase aside form the kite gear itse;f that I've ever made....and
I think it was only about $40 shipped. Hell, I'd say it'd be worth a $100 knowing what I paid for the How to Snowkite DVD and how much MORE info this
has and how much better the info is.
You won't regret it. This is amazing. With enough practice I think this will get me to Ninja status 
I'll post more if there's anything more I can rave about.
