can anyone advise me if this is a common problem.

Hello all, Im new tp power kiting and a couple of months ago purchased my first power kite, its a 3.5 air raid monster if anyones heard of thous. guy that i brought if from told me it was a popular kite for practising with. ive flown my mate 3.5 bullet and was fine with that, but on the 2 occasions ive tried to fly this one ive been dragged on my ass and on my face for quite a distance. use the bullet on the same day and in the same wind. why is this kite impossible to hold on to without my arms nearly being ripped off???

Different kites have different flight characteristics so the Bullet will have plenty of drag (good for buggying etc) while other kites may have more lift. Sounds like you're just having trouble adjusting to the two types of kite you're using.
