I started kiting as a reaction to my Father and a few others passing. I chose to start living ! :wee:

My Father was my biggest booster and #1 Fan ! He would have been pretty blown away by this whole sport and shocked that I took it up so late in life. He never skied but would come up and hang out with me. Couldn't play hockey but was assistant coach etc.. I know, He would of loved hanging with the local crew and cheering me on :saint: !

There are a few people on here that are in a similar boat ! It's GREAT to see that you get "it". You are a very lucky Man  I'm glad you two can share this, and I'm glad you appretiate it !

P.S., Dad's NEED pad's ;-)

Kind of funny with me its the opposite its the old man teaching the kids...lol
Definitely worth the effort passing along a life time of adventure and an appreciation of mother natures power and one thing the government hasn't figured out on how to tax us yet..lol
Nice to see you taking out your Dad, sure he will remember that day with a smile on his face...kudo's

My dad gets a big grin on his face with my just talking about the buggy. I will let him have a go at it if we can get together in a good spot with suitable stable conditions. He likes flying the kites and actually bought me my first 2 kites.

well just had the fam over for turkey day, and we all went to the beach!! i had a kite for all of them, of course every one of the guys wanted to try. so i sat them on the buggy and let them go down wind, i did make the use a helmet!!! but it will be a thanxgiving to remember. they were all very proud of me for my life expereince in oregon. sent chills down my spine. makes me feel like we are all doing something bigger than all of us, not just playing with toys.
