Thanks everyone for the DBBB feast

centex_buggier - 28-11-2008 at 10:24 PM

That was by far the best meal I have ever had for Thanksgiving!

Thanks to all who cooked, set things up and brought dishes and the cooking gear. Every dish was a treat. I had a great time and look forward to our next gathering at the beach.

Always a pleasure to have a good meal, buggy, and hang out with some great people... reminds us all of what we are Thankful for on Thanksgiving.

Day started out foggy, where a largo JoJo was seen ghosting along through the fog.

But by afternoon the skies cleared out and some long buggy runs could be had

I would like to thank everyone for such a great time too. The food was real good as always and we had plenty of it. Looking forward to next year.

Thanks everyone.

I would also like to thank everyone who made the week so enjoyable. We cannot forget to thank the wind gods, for either onshore or offshore winds most of the week making all of the beach runs possible. I only missed putting in 300 miles by 27 miles. What an awsome week!!! I am finally getting to my videos, hopefully I will be able to get some posted in the next week.

Well on turkey day there were over 20 of us. This was a small group compared to other years. They have seawall blvd. up and running for the tourist. I did not drive into the damaged parts but heard that a lot of stores and shops were still closed.

Yes you could make the long runs.

See ya in the desert.

Hey Glen
We were able to make beach runs almost every day. Sunday of pre-event I put in 109 miles with my longest round trip run of 26 miles. I could get almost to the State Park.

Is it time to start talking trash yet about the NPW races?

Can't wait to get you out on Ivanpah, to take your NPW crown away!

Yelp the nasa wing races should be real interesting this coming year. I now have very small to very big kites and everything in between.

Counting the days.
