and local eatem ups........downtown and Shem Creek (Mt Pleasant) are a bit pricey but..................Hymans, Buffaloe Wild Wings, Kickin Chickin,
and Sticky Fingers downtown are very reasonable. For breakfast, Hominy Grill is outstanding....................... http://www.sciway.net/tourism/chasrests.html
thread updated with better maps and looks like one of you is flying in so directions from the airport to FB added.....................
If you book a room in North Charleston, it most likely will be off I 26 at exit 213. Use the airport directions to FB as well.............BeamerBob - 3-12-2008 at 07:45 PM

A few minutes to acclimate and then I'm rolling. I'm bringing water gear as well so who knows, I might try one of your homebrew boards as well. The
time is right with water vets on hand for advice.tridude - 4-12-2008 at 09:59 AM
sounds good............anything west is offshore but the forecast may/probably will change. Mgatc and I or his son can paddle out, one for you, one
for the kite if you need help.................BeamerBob - 4-12-2008 at 10:06 AM
I forgot about the offshore thing. I don't have THAT much confidence in my abilities, and I'm old enough to know better. It would've hit me standing
on the beach for sure. I like the west wind for cruises to the pier so I won't wish that away.tracktROB - 4-12-2008 at 08:55 PM

While vacationed in South Carolina including Charleston with my family two years ago... Hymans Seafood Co. was very good even with huge fried battered
jumbo shrimp platter. Maybe do that on Sunday evening. (Charleston Crab House on Saturday night still on per thread) We missed Hominy Grill for
breakfast as tried to get the table there around late morning arrival. Better be there at 9am sharp when it open. I'm gonna make it this time to eat
on Saturday am and you all are welcome to gather!tridude - 5-12-2008 at 04:54 AM
