Snow on the beach

csa_deadon - 15-12-2008 at 12:01 PM

Got snowed on last night. About 0.5 inch on the beach, winds 90degrees true east at 17knots gusting to 21 knots.
temp 25.9 F, wind chill 12.0 F.

Think I'll have a hot buttered rum instead. :wee:

Good call, stick with the rum  I went out the other day and it was cold, wet and wet & cold. I deiced if the windows are coming from the east it's got to be a super low tide, specially if it's cold :) Tide is almost 3ft now... 1ft on Saturday afternoon though! :wee:

Snow on the ground and a decent wind, I'm in heaven. I'll warm up later. Grab the cold-weather gear and head out to a nice field!

Buggying Westhaven Beach, CT Jan 12 -18

pokitetrash - 17-12-2008 at 07:12 PM

I'm planning on buggying Westhaven Beach, CT Somewhere Jan 12 - 18 while I visit family. I'm putting studded snow tires on the Flexi in case of snow! I'll look like the Michellin Man all bundled up but I won't be near a beach and not buggy if I can help it.

Anyone in that area up for it with me? U2U if you'd like.
