sorry if this has been covered......
I am going to buggy on sand for the first time ever. Been at it for near to 3 years, but never on the beach before. I mostly run regular barrow type
tires. Am I going to sink? What is an alternative that will fit standard rims. Not looking for anything monstrous, but a little wider seems like it
would be a good thing! What do you guys use? And sources?
Thanks!!!

I am assuming you are planning on going to dbbb in Galveston. I go to Galveston on a regular basis. The only time you really need wide tires is in
the summer when the sand gets dryed out and real loose. The majority of people that will be there for dbbb will have the standard stock tires and not
have any problems in the sand. At this time of year the sand is packed by rain from cool fronts and it does not dry out as fast. Hope this helps.

Sand tires

I found some Carlisle tires for the loose sand-- 9.50 wide and so smooth!! I had no trouble forcing them to fit the Libre rims-- they were very
"Preggers" on th 4 inch rim but it works!!! Susan is right -- for DBBB and for the most part you will be ok-- (unless it blows up
"Texas coast snowdrifts" again!!) I did use these tires in the loose stuff here on the Mustang Island beach and they performed better than
my expectations!! Smoothed out the ride too!!!

Susan: You guessed right, I was trying to do last minute gear flushing out. Thanks for the response!
WickedRevs: Sounds like the fit for the loose stuff! I will prolly pick up a set for later, but it sounds like I will be OK on what I have.
See ya there!!

hey sean
i bring my little folder buggy with me to dbbb with the standard tires and never had a problem going all over the palce down there. i even got lost a
few times running in the tall dune grass. but mind you don`t take your eyes off your buggy. i will steal it for a run or two. we`re getting close now.
i see the temps have dropped down in texas this week. plan on packing a light jacket and a few sweat shirts.
