I have a PL XR+ that is definitely strong enough to hold your weight but I would think the seat would be too narrow. I'm sure there's a Libre buggy out there with your name on it. Just send an U2U to Jellis (I believe he's a Libre dealer/distributor) and he should be able to answer your questions.

...I'm sure others will come on and share their opinions as well.

Good Luck.

The Dominator

Seriously though, there are loads of buggies out there more than strong enough to accommodate you

Libre Draster, Protask
Viper Evo
Any purpose built race buggy, made within the last couple of years, I say that, as there are buggies out there with the race buggy tag, and wont last you two minutes, The Predator Race Buggy for example....there are also some older school race buggies that will be ok, like the Camelion's or Barracuda's

My advice, is go big buy once

xxtreme apexx OR xxracer

custom build too

Yeah, how tall and wide are you?

I would have bought big and once but the >1k+ price tag is kinda unnerving when you're new to the sport. I'm only 225, shorter and wider not taller and longer, and the XR+ fits me fine thought I higher seat back would be nice. I've got a extra XR+ that I've been holding onto, and apparently my wife think I only really need one buggy  If you determine that you want an XR+ let me know.

I was looking around the website for "a wind of change" today and there are a couple of PL "monster" limited production buggies for sale very slightly used, could look into those, a lot less than $1K and 88 pounds heavy with all-round adjustable shocks and the seat looks --erm-- wider than most....

reckon they'd do alright... Call the guy up and ask...

2300.00 and 2500.00 for the std xxracer or apexx (see Dakitez)

not cheap but well worth it for a custom buggy to fit YOU =)

also the heel strap footpegs makes all the difference. its like a sofa on wheels

try one out at nabx 2009 ... designer Ozzy and creator Ruudje will be there as well. cant wait!!! :wee:
there might be a USED one for sale too down there. hehehe

sorry for the self PIMP, but i love my ApeXX
