"just need the 7.4 and 15.5".... OMG.

you had me going though, I went to the website to check....

quite the price difference between the 3.3 and the 5.0! $149 vs $399. Holy cow!

it's an intro special. It will cost more later on, I'm sure of it. If I can afford one of each size when they first come out ,I'll get em.
I will get the 2.3 next payday!!

ps . look at the size sidebar they really are gonna have a 15.5m!

furbowski - 3-1-2009 at 09:14 PM

yes indeed, they do plan to go up to 15.5.... Found that side bar.

Had a look on the forum as well, looks like you're the first anywhere with that thing. Even andya and cust haven't flown them yet it seems like ????

I know what you mean about the cheap pricing: my 5m was one of the $99 ones with the rough first-gen lines. On my first flight with the thing they stretched about half a foot in half an hour -- it was the weirdest thing -- the lines kept snapping with a sound like a rope loading up an a sailboat winch, loud clicks every thirty seconds or so along with a barely perceptible bump in the pull of the kite...

you checked your collector knots, eh? ;-)

I won't be buying, though, the next kite's going to be a used but good recent model depower...

lol, yep your right, not seen the small ones yet.

Pansh have the Race team now so the new Racekites go straight to them, they got the sizes up to 7.4m a few months ago now.

The reports back from the Race team sound good. Over 50mph first time out with the 2.3 with "more to come"
