So browsing CL the other day i found a PL buggy with 3 kites for 350, i have been in talks with the guy and wanted some advice before i pull the
trigger.
the kites are Little devils form 2-4m, and the buggy is a PL with big tires. the owner said everything is about 5-10 years old? what do you think?

I saw that too, seems like a good deal. But i believe he phrased it like the kites have "some life left in them"... so I might be concerned about the
condition of the kites 
But even for the buggy that's a good price; assuming
it's not a pile of rust. I don't recall seeing pics of the buggy but you may want to ask for some.

I saw the pictures on cl that is a old buggy.
on that old buggy the side rails are flat they do not come up and hit you in the sides like the newer buggy. There is another buggy in elk grove, but
its the same vintage. You will have trouble keeping your butt in the seat with any decent power.
I don't know what those kites are worth or how good they fly. It might be worth it just for the kites

thats not a bad deal....... I still ride my P.L comp buggy every now and then ....... if the wings are in decent shape your pretty much getting a
free buggy

Looks like a great deal for a learn-to-buggy set-up. Li'l Devils are a solid kite, and great to learn on. Faster and more responsive than say,
Beamers. Build quality is typical Ozone - excellent.
Newer PL buggies put the rider further forward for better weight distribution, with deeper rails and a seat that holds you in better. But if there
are no defects to the gear, the price is great.

Great Deal, even if the kites & buggy have some wear. As long as there are no cracks in the buggy frame or tears in the kites. If you want to get
into buggying this is the perfect package to start with.
Buy it now before someone else beats you to it!
If your concerned about condition of the equipment have the seller take closeup pictures of the tires, welds, and seat. Also, the leading and trailing
edge of the kites. Post them here, we'll let you know if its worth it.

Weren't little devils the predecessors to the samurai? Well respected kites for sure.

I think the LDs were the predecessor to the IMP not the samuari. My son flies a LD 1.5 - its a great kite.

The Little Devil's were one of the first released kites from Ozone. They pretty much set the benchmark back then. Awesome kites for sure and we
still have many buggiers here in the desert that still use LD's on a daily basis, that alone should tell you of the build quality and performance.
They are awesome kites and the package deal listed would be extremely hard to beat anywhere. I would snatch that up pretty quick before someone beats
you to it.
The IMP has always been somewhat of a trainer and until recently was only available in a dual line configuration.
The Little Devils were eventually replaced with the Fury - which was released around the same time as the Samauri, then they were both replaced with
the Sami II & Riot - then the Cult & Haka....I may be wrong here and it may have gone LD, then Sami then Fury....have to think on this a bit
more.
Personally I think the Little Devils were slightly better quality kite than the Sami's and had pretty much the same power output. Great kites for
sure.
