I wonder what your plans are for the kite now ?
If it is affordable I would consider taking it off of your hands and re-bridling it ? Let Me know !

Oh man... thats a pulse, isnt it. That is sooooo sad.
John hooked me up with a great repair on mine when if dove into some rebar... I bet he could fix that up no problem.

I am curious to know how you climbed from the ladder to the top ??
and then how did you hold onto up there with your legs apart...
You could have killed yourself ??? Just wonder.

Heh. I wondered the same thing. He sure was brave! He climbed that with nothing to attach him to the pole!
bloah - 15-1-2009 at 10:14 PM
hahaha, yeah that was quite something.
I actually sold the kite to some polish dude for 200$, but I am pretty sure I can take it back from him for the same money and sell it for anyone
willing for the same price he bought it.
I had a harness and a safety rope around the pole so I would fall down. On the way down thought, I had use my arms as breaks to slow descent, and my
sweater ripped and all my arms where in blood and I still have the scars from it.
So if anyone interested, the canopy is still for possible sale, for 200$ + shipping. Thats the price I sold to a polish guy, but I am sure he will be
willing to sell it back! with all the bridle and lines remaining.

What's missing here is the story of the events leading up to the pole climb. Fess up!
leebrianh - 16-1-2009 at 07:27 AM
I understand there were some damages on bridle lines but what about kite itself? Any rips or tears? And what size was it again?
bloah - 16-1-2009 at 08:23 AM
kite sail is intact,
How the kite ended up on the pole on the first place was that I was landboarding, and I thought I can fly a kite over top of the pole, but apparantly
not
