Need to build myself a launch ramp, preferably portable so looked around the net and got some ideas. Anyone build on yet and if you did are you happy
with the results? What if anything would you change?
Just love the air time, Sabre has got some nice float and with some good bar timing very sweet.

I never thought of building one. but i have used the small ramps they sell for kids on skateboards. they plastic and not too big to cart around. fun
and keeps me entertained when i feel like taking it out.

Most seem to be pretty wide at least 4' to 6 feet, not sure on length and overall height at launch point.

oh I'm talking about small stuff. Just a boost for a higher jump. you can find it at like Walmart or sporting goods stores. we might be on different
pages though. I just look for a boost. this thing is only like 2 ft high

I'm looking at about a 4' lift, approach length and overall width.

This is more than you may want but the year before last Folks showed up at with a brilliant design at SOBB. It was built on a trailer. It flipped open
so that the so that it created one BIG ramp. about 6+ feet at take off . Very smart design. Easy to move around.
The way I see it. if you design the trailer right it should act as as kite / gear storage as well ?

Sounds great, any idea if I could get a plan or pictures from who built it? I have an old trailer I could mod up.
Ramp definitely gives you a sweeter launch, the float can go on forever.

Can you move down here so I can hang with you... This is my kinda
action...:Ange09: A "Mobile Ramp Trailer", you could add a buggy mount also... NICE!!!

I can't seem to see any pictures of the ramp from SOBB 07 online ? Sorry !

Yea Blade got me thinking, spot for the buggy and kites. Really liking my Sabre with the modifications completed amazingly smooth lift and float in 15
mph+ winds is sweet. Finished off my witchard with a barrel swivel, two new seat belts and ready for some air time in the buggy.

I think you'll find some ramp pix in the NABX threads. I recall seeing some Flexi riders launching some mad airs off a ramp like you're thinking of
killing us with :singing:
