Older Ozones: Little Devil 4.5 vs Samurai 5

I'm looking at both these fixed bridals for landboarding. I know they're older kites. I see lots of people on here have flown both of these kites. What's your opinions on these for mountainboard mid wind engines?
Cheers!

I can’t comment on the Little Devil as I’ve never flown one but I have a 5m Samurai II that I use for landboarding and it’s a great kite. On hard packed sand it gets me rolling cross-wind (by working the kite aggressively) at about 8 knots or less. It starts to come to life and is in its sweet spot from about 10 to 15 knots. Being a medium aspect ratio kite it’s very stable and somewhat grunty sitting a little deeper in the window with good low-end. The up-wind ability is good, maybe not stellar but it’s more than adequate. It’s not as lifty as something like a Blade but you can definitely jump with it.
Flown on handles it’s very responsive and agile with a very tight turning radius. You can practically propeller spin it if you try. I wouldn’t consider putting it on a bar but then I wouldn’t fly any fixed bridle kite on a bar.

Overall I think it’s a great kite to begin landboarding with. It’s got a good range, it’s smooth and fairly forgiving in decent winds and it’s got enough performance to keep you progressing for a long time.
