i did something like that a few years ago with a yogo.
i had my friend drive the car while i worked the kite thru the sun roof. we only went down wind for about 100yds. but the place we did that at wasn`t
the best for kite powered cars..
i used a 6.4 blade in about a 20mph wind. i didn`t harness the kite to the car. i only leaned out the sun roof. i wanted to able to let go. the only
reason i did it. my friend said no way can one of your kites pull a car. i provded him wrong.

not very fast. maybe 5,8mph. then i was leaning out the roof. the opening was cutting into my gut and i couldn`t hold on very long. it felt like my
arms were getting longer every time i brought the kite down into the power zone.
