I'm going to keep an eye on the posts here and maybe meet up with other area kiters.

I also submitted a registration request for the http://www.njbuggyclub.com.

They are close and seem to be a fun group.

Hi again, we have a few local spots here in DE that we do alot of static flying with jumps and scuds. One guy has a board and buggy, the rest of us are trying to catch up to him. $$$$$ One of the guys has a prism that he flies when winds are too high for his ace. Maybe we can catch up with you soon. I know the big park by the double decker has got to be a decent place to fly.

You must mean FDR Park....I tried that but it was too hard. People with kids kept sending them under the kite...

Maybe it was to see the pretty large kite...maybe they just wanted their kids maimed...I don't know. In any case we head to Belmont Plateau where the kite festival just to be held.

Anytime...give a yell!

Guys - I also have an eye out for uncrowded places in the region during the summer season.

An R/C guy mentioned to me Fair Hill, MD as a spacious, public place. It sounds like it may possibly have a lot of available kiting and buggying grounds. I will try to check it out this month.

"Fair Hill is a 5,633 acre Natural Resources Management Area, where multiple management practices are employed for the maximum use and protection of Maryland's natural resources. Bordered by Pennsylvania to the north and less than one half mile west of Delaware, Fair Hill is known for its pristine fields, woodlands and natural beauty."
