Welcome

Choose " user control panel " from just below your name up on the top right of the page. Then choose " edit profile " .

Most of what you ask for is input there.

Most people put a list of their kites in their signature. It helps to judge how addicted you are and to what style of flying you do.

There have been a few very good topics recently about new fliers and choosing kites. It would be time well spent reading the last couple of weeks posts looking for new riders posts. You can do that by going to " todays posts " then at the bottom edit the # of days displayed.

No one will jump on you for being new here ! Not if you want to learn and be safe .

Note the tiny size you avatar picture must be !
I shrink mine using Paint and the " stretch, scew" option .

Thanks guys.
@ Bladerunner, I used to have a 9m BladeII, .. sweet kite. Not too big that it turns slow, but powerfull enough in low winds on the board. Used with handles and strop for controll, n steering.
Gone through a few Pansh kites and did a review on the 5m Ace.

Still lernin..

The Blade II has found a pretty permanent spot in my quiver. It is a nice well behaved kite. It packs down very small and flies very early. It has paid itself off so I'll buy an AoA kit for it and see how that works. I got this kite cheap so it can face the rough conditions like NABX and I can save the 13m Psycho for less harsh enviroments. No regrets!

hiya -- I recognize your avatar from all my lurking on racekites and flexi... (I think)... 5m ace was my first kite, bought it on the strength of all the buzz it generated on the forums in UK, your review may well have been one of the ones that got me going!

welcome to powerkites! should be good to have you on here, you uk folks tend to know your kite $4!t!

and don't worry about being new, this forum is like a comfy down duvet compared to the antagonistic yobspeak stuff that routinely goes down on flexi, one of the reasons I like it here...

Welcome Sid-the-Sloth! I'm somewhat new myself and the forum has been an easy intro into the sport.
