Just got back from the sand storm called the beach. Jekyll was howling yesterday 20-30 for the NNE with some storm surge. There wasn't much
beach...maybe a 30 yard ribbon of clean sand above the foam that ran the length of the beach. The tide line stayed in the same place the entire time
we were there. It was like the tidal change had no effect because of the surge.
Near overpowered on the Access XC 6 and a mountainboard, we broke out the 4 mtr XC and had fun jumping static. Robb showed up and went out on the
water on a 5.5 inflatable and was struggling with the gusty conditions.
As we were packing up, we tried some hoodie surfing in the 30 mph+ gusts. It was good for some downwinders!
