All alone on Sunset

csa_deadon - 30-3-2009 at 07:43 PM

Didn't get up to sunset Beach this past weekend. Opted out due to freaky weather concerns.

Rolled the dice and headed up today. Glad I did, just a hand full of rigs on the beach. Even though the wind was not the best, almost due south, but the tide was working in my favor.

Pulled the buggy off the back of the truck and proceded to mark my turf!! making tracks! Spent the better part of 4 hours just making figure eights. :wee: The few beachcombers that were out must have thought I had lost it.
That was right after I drove head on into the surf. opps!!
Paying to much attention to the dogs headed my way.
Found out buggy don't float.

Wanted to put the Neo in the air, however more sensible minds prevailed. Need a little more seat time, and static time with the Neo before that happens.

Any way, Jim sorry I marked up your beach.
Can't wait to ride again.

I know the feeling of marking up his beach. Jim must be down at the event I take it? Talked to him a few times down there, finally I get hooked up with a buggy, and I spent the sunday evening down there by myself as well. Probably less than ideal conditions, a bit northwesterly and a medium tide, but still enough room to practice some transitions, or turns, (still new to the buggy terms). At least the sun was out off and on.:singing: It was my first buggy session, and Im now hooked.

Light the candle on that 11m NEO! It flys much, much better while moving than it does static. You and the bug will love it.
