Advice?

My current quiver is a 9.5m and 7m Depowerables. I weigh 140lbs and because I live on the coast we sometimes get really gusty condtions and high winds during seasons change (IMO) I really don't feel too safe with the 7m anything above 20mph (even though thats it's purpose) so my 7m is useless in my quiver. M currently looking at a 5m Apex or Access 6m. since they are more tame and great for those high winds. anyone in my same weight range try these in 20+ winds?

The 6m Access a great kite and great in high winds, but I'm not sure what my top end with it is because I don't really know what the winds are when I'm flying it. I'd say that I'm pretty happy with it from about 15-20 mph. I think that 20 mph would be pretty close to my top end with that kite on a landboard. If the 20+ wind range is what you really want to cover you might want to consider the 4m Access as well.

Thanx KiteNH I will Def take a look into the 4m :) This entire week the winds are gusting into the 20+ and sometimes 30's Yikes.....Yesterday took a drive to the beach to watch the KiteSurfers. Winds were like 25mph gusting to 38mph. Thats insane I didn't think anyone would be out in those winds. They were just crusiing around fighting the waves didn't see anyone pulling off tricks or even jump.

Spent the afternoon cruising on the 4m Access. Dirty, gusty winds probably from maybe the high teens to mid-twenties and the 4m was the ticket today. Couldn't have rode without it.

The 4m Access is a great little kite.

Also may want to look at a 4m Flysurfer Outlaw for around the same price.

I'd love to check out an Outlaw sometime. But the Outlaw doesn't come in a 4m. The 6m is the smallest size. And the Outlaw costs about 40% more than the Access at $1050 retail.
