Hey all...Not sure this is the correct forum location for this question but here goes...
I am lookin for a Kite that I can pack up and stick into a Backpack when I go hiking that I can take out and use to mess around with. Not lookin for
anything large just a real small package to fit in a backpack. I want a foil for the ability to just bunch it up and stick in a stuff sack. Anyone
have any input. Kinda want a four line but with my requirements (small sq") I am not sure I can get that. Been looking on the web but I am not sure.
Any help in the right direction would be great.

Anything with 4-lines is going to have handles (or worse a bar), which aren't as packable as a couple of straps. If you want truely compact I would
stick with a 2-line kite.
I have a HQ symphony 1.2 that packes up to the size of a balled up sock. It has no pull even in strong winds but it's fast hell and really fun to
fly. It's cheap too! It's pretty tough as well, I've used it to teach a few people at the beach and it's taken some HARD crashes especially
considering it's so fast.

Very good point "bigben91682". Didn't even think about that part. I mean my handles aren't that cumbersome but I like to go as light as possible
when I hike, I know bringing a kite isn't in the Ultralight realm, but for some fun day hikes or when I just go from base camp it would be fun to
chuck a kite into the air on the peak of a MT. and have some fun with lunch ya know.

Ted's profoils are nice and great bang for the buck- that 1.5m might be a good option. Also, something like a flexi sting might be a good fit, too.

We bought a 1 or 1.5 off Ted and it's SUPER quick. It's quite a skill tuner - you'll love it!
