I've been landboarding since october, and there is nobody else that flys where i live. its hard to judge progression when there is nobody else around
except one other kite friend. I love to jump, and i was wondering how high is a good jump in the kiting community. My highest so far is about 25
feet. My average on a good day is around 15ft. What is everybody else's highest jump? I'm trying to figure out where i stand.

My biggest jump was around the lower 20ft mark

I've got a small area to fly in... and gusty conditions . With the board, my
progression has been slow. My highest on the board has been 5ft? 6ft? Just kite jumping about 10 ft. 20ft and 25ft is pretty dang high up there dudes,
what winds and kites were/are you flying in to get those heights?

around 30-40 ft on the water overclocking a V16 in 30-35mph.
ATB 15-20ft (cautious)

I was using a v2 in around 21mph winds

I was using a 13m guerilla 1 in 27-35 winds...it was sketchy

are you counting your jump from head height or board level, as a 6ft jump can easily turn into a 12ft jump. maybe you should judge your jump by hang
time.
if you really want to measure the height then tie a piece of rope to your board and see if it leaves the ground when you jump, measure it and thats
the height of your jump..

there is a 20 ft tall building next to the field that i fly in, and when I had my highest jump i could easily see on top of the roof and everything
that was up there. So i guess thats the way that I measured it. My buddy said that the lowest part of my body was close to the M on those really tall
McDonalds signs that were across the street from our field. It was one of those jumps were you get really #@%$#!y and mid jump a huge gusts hits and
you get launched out of control. Luckily my out of control was strait up and not sideways toward the road.
that was the day that i decided to start wearing my brain bucket lol.

flyin'
harness pivot point or board kicked out as a measuring point
and yes helmet... i won't the habit
