got a friend that is selling all his used kitesurf gear:
- 9.4 mts Black Tip Cabrinha Kite
- Airflow 175 Board (without straps or boots)
- Dakine semiseat harness
- Cabrinha bar and spreader bar
- Lines
he wants to sell all for $500.00 (FIVE HUNDRED BUCKS) because he doesn´t have time for the sport anymore. The kite, harness, lines and bars have been
used 10 times most and the board is also in good conditions.
i want to know if this gear would work for me to get started in the sport. if not, can i get all this gear for that price (used or new) and where in
las vegas or san diego?

it's a good price for the gear. i'd take it if i were you. for $500 you may not even be able to buy the accessories for the kite, which
alone goes for over $700.
whether or not it's good gear to learn on is debatable, but maybe consider also buying a little 2 line stunt kite and get totally comfortable
flying it, even behind your back, then try the bigger stuff; otherwise, you may just destroy your "new" kite before you really learn to fly
or ride.
