I am looking to start wrapping my mind around the idea of my next kite. I want something with some lift. Any ideas?

This will be my 2nd kite and my 1st 4 line. I was almost thinking about the popular Beamer kites.

The Beamers would be great for your next kite but not for jumping. You aren't ready for a kite that would effectively allow you to jump with it.
Putting in some hours with the Beamer will give you the skills necessary to be able to handle a more aggressive lifty kite. Skipping that step will
be frustrating, will slow your progress and could tear up you and your kite.

Jumping might be too strong of a word...
I'm hoping to increase my physical interaction from my current kite (1st kite) before I start using the traction to move something like a mountain
board.
I guess I'm investigating good medium sized kites and won't be buying for a few months until I put some more time in with my current 2 line kite.
Thanks Beamer for the response!

The Peter Lynn Twisters are great, lifty, recreational kites

convert your stylus over to quad.
+1 on the twisters

Beamers a GREAT beginer kites. They have reduced lift though. Good for keeping you out of trouble .
You can't go too wrong with a BEAMER but you just may want something a bit more aggressive.
What is the normal wind speed you would fly in ? If your winds are generally pretty calm a 5m might be a large but good step up ?
It is true that you can upgrade your P3 to a 4 line. Thing is the money extra lines and handles may be better spent on the next kite ? If you can
afford to , making the P3 a 4 line on handles will be a great idea !

I doubt I will get the 4 lines for my p3, nor will I likely stack them.
I've been taking the kite out in 13 - 16 mile per hour winds and it could be more aggressive for my enjoyment (not for my skill level or safety
though!). 8 mile per hour winds (& less) are easier to find here, in Philadelphia and I am having trouble getting the kite up in those winds.
I am thinking a Beamer that is larger then my current kite might be a good next kite once my ability increases...

Hey Furlongs, if you find yourself traveling south into Delaware give me a shout. I don't have a Beamer yet, but am planning on picking one up
hopefully within the next month. Might have some other kites for you to try out as well, that'll give you a chance to try out some four line kites and
might help you figure out which direction you want to go for the next kite. Definitely a good idea to increase your skills gradually with each kite
you get and not take huge leaps, don't wanna get yourself hurt.
