scorpion advice

Im having trouble with my peter Lynn scorpion 16m what setting did some of you find best with the straps? I landboard and I usually go for big jumps my scorpion keeps dumping out the power. I'm flying with all my straps on 50%. When the kite moves fast across the window and I redirect it just loses power. Even when it pivots fast i'm getting the smallest jumps. I can boost really high with my guerilla 13m, but I feel like a dumbass when I take out the scorpion, please help. I'm tired of wasting flying time.

I fly my center strap loose and tips at 50%

how does that affect your jumps? I find myself getting pulled forward instead of upward.

make sure you're sending the kite to zenith before you send it back. I was having trouble relearning how to jump with my P4 and i found my problem was that since I came from the Pulse 2 which doesn't turn as fast. I was actually missing the Zenith on my redirect for a jump because the kite would turn completely around and head the opposite direction low in the sky instead of turning up to zenith and then back to 11/2 o clock

try redirecting slower and edging hard and away from the kite hard for 2 seconds max to get a nice load and pop

yeah I noticed that I had to edge to build up power but the kite was losing power on the turn or if pivoted mildly. That's why I think it's the way the internal strap are set

yeah..

personally it sounds like you're backstalling the kite on your turns. check this link to make sure that your leaders and line lengths are in spec.
