Well. As a few may have read from my previous topic, I am totally new to this sport having purchased a Radsails 145. I was out for a brew with my
mate down in Lossie and although there was no wind, we decided to roll out his Flexifoil Blade 4.9 and hope for the best. Suprisingly it did take and
he was being dragged about silly. He asked if I wanted a go and at first I was a bit sceptical as I had visions of throwing it into the ground
leading edge first and destryoing it, that and I have never flown a 4 line before. Still, I took over and jeeeeezo! What a workout!!! Now, I come
from an ex motocross background and now do alot of downhill mountainbiking so I am no stranger to arm pump and fatigue but this is something else! I
was only on for 5 minutes and was out of breath being dragged down the beach in light winds. Amazing. I am 30 years old and am absolutely gutted
that I didn't come across this 15 years ago! Why didn't anyone tell me?!?!?!

Don't regret missing the past. Just make the most of now and the future. You had fun doing something in the past and unless you are a prince, you
just can't do it all. Sometimes we have to pick. Also, they didn't make kites like that 15 years ago. While kites look much the same on the
surface, the nuances of the improvements of design and materials is improving every year.
