OKay, as other thread says, my Beamer 5 arrives on Thursday.
Now, how do I fly the thing?
I wann alearn teh basics and do jumps to start with, I have no buggy etc.
Is there a tutorial of "pull this string down to bring kite down and stop power", etc etc
Obviously I'll start in a very light wind!

Well, the bottom lines on the handles are the break lines and attach to the trailing edge (bottom of the kite). The top lines are the flight lines
and what you will use to steer. Pull left to go left and right to go right. The brake lines should be slack and that means the ends of the handles
will be pointing away from you until you want to brake. If your kite didn't come with Kite killers (and I know that beamers did not until the
2005 model year), buy some. They are wrist straps that attach to the brake line leader on the handles. They are not very expensive and well worth
the money. They allow you to let go fo the handles and the kite will depower, and then just float to the ground. It won't blow away because it
is attached to you. Not knowing the currency conversion, I'd guess that they are about 10 GBP. Fly it in very mild winds the first few times.
Oh, the crossfire is a little more expensive than the beamer, but a lot less than a balde.

How about jumps, anything special you need to do - or do I figure that out when flying?
I'm happy with my £116 kite though, it will be a good start. WOuld rather have a crossfire, or even better a blade, but let's see how I get
on with this one first.
