HELP!!

Hi, I am 6th form student studying A-level Product Design, for which I am designing and building a kite buggy for my coursework project. I need your help, as for part of the research I have produced a questionnaire, which I would really appreciate responses to, in order to help me to get a quality result. It shouldn’t take long and would be a big help to me.

The questionnaire will follow below. If you are willing to answer it, I think the best method will be as follows:
• Put the question number followed by the letter(s) of the answer(s) that you want to give, e.g. 1a, 2cd.
• Type any written answers following the relevant question number/answer letter.

The answers could be put as a reply following this, or in a U2U, whichever you prefer. Please send them any time over the next couple of weeks or so. I won’t be able to reply to any sent later this afternoon until a weeks time as I’m going on holiday, but I will get back to you after that!

Good luck, I used to love projects like this (we called them DT though)

1. a - although don't use statistics on this answer such as "90% of people asked liked action sports" as posting on a power kite forum may be classed as biased and may lose you points for unfair statistics

erkens, did you mean with this that you thought I was doing this for a buggy manufacturer cos I'm not, it's for my own use as I said above. I did the same thing on a MINI forum for my Product Design written project, to get owners views.

Thanks for your reply whiffin. I will ask other people as well, not just on here, to try to make it as fair as possible.

15 I would have liked to see 20mm wheel bolts, and higher siderails on the seat. Adjustable camber, toe in would be good as well. Hmmm.. should have gotten the Libre :D

10.b... just a hassle to take the axle off every time... was an advantage w/ my old pl race, the axle used 'gravity-bonding'

12.a... although I wouldn't mind some sort of quick-release set-up for the axle

14.a bag; a couple sets of various tires for different surfaces. The barrow tires burn off rather quickly on concrete.
15. The blue color is anti-stylish... would've preferred black
16.the best thing for me would be quality quick-releases- for the rear axle definitely and maybe for adjusting length where the siderails mate with the fork.

I would ans. 4 you but kite bugging is the only form of kiting that I`m not into.
Maybe next year I`ll give it a go.
