i am not trying to spam the sit i only 14 i just got into powerkiting i got 2 kites the exit 1.8 and the flexifoil rage that i jus bought i wouldnt try to spam it

Have you got any tips for me because i not sure how to pack a 4 line kite away without tangling the strigs because i bough my kite from ebay and it didnt have any instructions

Parapacking is the way I pack all my kites. Looks like a mess but works like a charm. Follow the link below to a tutorial.

Looks pretty good but I could not find mention at all about safety or safety equipment.

i just had a look at how to pack it away and its a much easier way than what i do now it is so time consuming untangling it ever time i get it out thanks

If you're reluctant to parapack you can also wind the lines in a figure eight pattern on the bar/handles and if you unpack it in reverse of winding it up you should have 2 or 3 twists tops.

i am not sure what the best wind speed is to fly a flexifoil rage 2.5m because i am not use to it also i am not that heavey

Start in low winds and work your way up until you determine your comfort zone.

I fly my 2.5s in anything from 15 - 25 depending upon if I'm skiing, boarding or just static flying.

thanks for the advise i have only flown it once in about 15mph winds which was quite scary. do you know if you go very fast when you are landboarding with the kite

Speed is relative and you always seem to be going faster than you actually are when boarding. If you get going too fast either slowly move the kite up to the zenith or lean way back against it to initiate a slide and kill some of the power.

Has anyone tried this "packing technique"? No doubt it looks like a mess~ I fly an Apex with a control bar, and the control bar is set up to wind the lines around the bar, but regardless of how careful I am I always (repeat: always) spend time untangling the mess.

i tried this technique today and it was very quick but have not used it sine so unsure if it works it looked promising
i will let you know if it works tomorrow because i am going to fly my kite tomorrow
i use to wind it round the handles and spend hours untangling like you
have you looked at the link from broc it is very good and simple to follow

i went for a fly today and power-packing worked a treat it was so fast to unpack the kite and almost no tangling of the lines would strongly recommend

Good to know. I went out today as well and did a little landboarding. Surprisingly, I didn't have too much trouble unpacking the sucker. I think the key is just to go slow and untangle the lines as you go (I have a control bar don't forget). When I was packing it up I was debating this new method, but decided on the old fashion way until I heard from you. Next time.... =)

P.S. I think safety gear is under-rated. Saved my butt today!
