I've heard it mentioned that when you get a new kite the curse kicks in. I can confirm this. PL Twister II 5.6 should be here today or tomorrow, and
the winds all week are 15-20 however with those winds come heavy rain I guess its
sort of a blessing in disguise since I've so far only flown the 4.1 in winds up to 15ish. Go away rain! Lol!action jackson - 18-5-2009 at 07:56 AM
Watch that low! Looks like the 1st tropical system of the season is forming!..........ajmougl - 18-5-2009 at 08:04 AM
yeah, living in hurricane alley I always keep a keen eye on the tropics this time of year. The times between systems should make for some interesting

SInce this is "Storm Preparedness" training week at work.. fits perfectly.
But I know the feeling of the kite curse. last week was one of the first weekdays I've had off with wind. Usually day off with no crowds = no wind.mougl - 18-5-2009 at 08:12 AM
Just static for now, still learning I've flown the PL Twister II 4.1 a couple
times (friends kite) and I'm hooked. I bought the 5.6 for light days seeing as how my friend and I will be flying together and we can switch off
flying foils. Eventually I want to try land boarding/ buggies/ and kite surfing.
