Kick ass weekend!

WELL ...

Saturday, I went out with a riding buddy and took a rip out through some twisty roads in the mountains then after a few hours, we thought we'd head over to Mie Prefecture to have a look at the Suzuka Twin Ring Circuit.
They just happened to be having an open track day - and a Triumph test ride day :singing: so I got to ride Triumph Speed Triple, Tiger, Rocket III and Daytona 675 for 4 or 5 laps each round the track! Not only that - it didn't cost us a bean

Got home to discover I just missed a parcel delivery but with a bit of pleading, got it redelivered and took possension of a raspberry and gold Rev 1.5 SLE :singing: Thanks Dino!

It arrived early enough that we decided to make the wife's birthday this weekend cos she could take off the Monday this week but not next. So we loaded the car and headed off to Shizuoka that night, got a room at our favourite love hotel (it's a Japanese thing) and had a nice relaxing evening, soaking in the big tub and drinking micro-brewery beer oh and watching the Rev instruction video!

Today the wind was up so we went to the beach and I pulled out all my kites and gave them a run ... then I unwrapped the Rev and had a good long play with that ... rocks! Still a bit rough but I was having good fun with it - even got the "dive stop" thing working too stopped for lunch then made a dash for a big open car-park and unapcked the Bullet again laced up the skates and ripped around for an hour ...

Had a great dinner at a lovely restaurant and back to the hotel ... need to soak the old bones tonight! More flying tomorrow hopefully then back home ...

Excellent weekend! Just what I needed :wee: and the wife too! Think I'll take the day off on Tuesday too , to recover
