What method do you use for solo landing a FDS Flysurfer kite. I have used the FDS by pulling the release on the chicken loop. Then I put a kite
stake thru the eyelet from the fifth line and go up to the kite and unzip the back. The manual also says to use the pull stop handles. It would be
nice to just land it and stake the brakes like a closed cell foil but I figure that does not happen since it is full of air still and wanting to take
off. Which is great for water relaunch but gets kind of dicey on land as the kite rights itself and moves toward the power window. Thanks.tridude - 25-5-2009 at 01:07 AM
pull the rear line OS handles or stopper balls, induce backstall, and down she comes...........stake em off and there she'll

I stake the chicken loop and then wrap the rear lines behind the stake too. The kite will stay parked. Does that make sense? If not, look at

Flysurfer makes you jump through a few hoops to get the Psycho 3 Manual. To make it easier, I have posted it where you can pull it down without any
pagan rituals or animal sacrifices:
