firstly, i know, and im sorry for making a load of new posts, im worried that if i just reply to my old postspeople wont see them.

anyway, pkd buster II 3m. does anyone fly one ? and ifso whats it like, and if you know, how does it compare to the peter lynn hornet.

im hopefully gettin the hornet in the next couple of days, but im scouting around for slightly cheaper alternaives, i dont want to skimp on quality though.

thanks, tim. :)

I don't have 1st hand experience with the Hornet.

The Buster is a pretty stable kite. Designed as a beginer model . A great kite for 1st timers. It is pretty well made. Comes in a cheap nylon bag. Usually people trade their Buster off for something more high performance when their 3m becomes a high wind kite.

hornet is new model for this year, the Buster II is old model now with the Buster III out.

i cant remember if it comes complete, if so its only Handles and Lines. You may or may not like the pkd handles. i perfer light handles, thicker soft foam and shorter on smaller kites.

i suggest you fly before you buy.

As said above the Buster II is a great beginner kite and comes with handles /lines with some other goody's, as does the Hornet. I have flown the both, in the larger sizes and I prefer the Buster for bugging, because of the adjustable brakes on the handles, which helps in high winds. I do have a 3m Buster and it is a fun kite to fly static, not tried bugging with it.
