The Ozone Quattro is an excellent kite, has all the quality and performance that Ozone delivers in all of their kites. Performance is wonderful and the Quattro is a perfect beginners kite with super stability, predictable power and excellent quality. It can be used as a buggy engine without any problems and is a really fun kite to fly.

The Hornet is pretty much on par with the Quattro with great performance, super stable and construction is very good. The Quattro will probably have slightly more power because of the increased size (3.5 compared to a 3.0) but either kite will be a great choice and I don't think you will regret getting either one.

If you are looking for a little more aggressive/faster kite then one of the other models may be a better choice.

Both kites have plenty of power to spare.

Hope that helps.

thanks for the advice guys. if i whent for the imp quatro, do you think i should go for the 2.5 or 3.5 ?

i was going to go for a 3m, but the imp doesnt have one, so its either go a little more powerful, or a little less.. ?

im 14 stone if tha helps.

It all depends on your winds. If you generally have lighter winds then I would go for the larger size.

furbowski said this in a different post:

"The flexi sting is a good trainer kite, but may not hold your interest as long as something with a bit more of a refined design....
....imp quattro is a bit like the sting, a nice trainer but not a very refined design."

would you agree with this?

another question,

do you think the hornet 3m is worth £20 (uk) more than the imp quatro 3.5m ?

I've got the Quattro 2.5m and a VIII Quattro 1.5m - both beautifully built kites. Not showing any signs of wear after plenty of crashes! I'm about 80odd kg (can't remember what that is in stone) and I find over 15mph I'm struggling to hold my ground with the 2.5m Quattro. That's about the time it starts to work with the buggy. If you're a little heavier and you plan on doing a bit of buggying I think the 3.5m may be the more useful kite. I also recently got a 2m Beamer IV - maybe a tad less in quality (very close) but I think it flies a little better than the quattro and it certainly pulls as hard as the 2.5m quattro. Hope that helps. - John
