So I got my funds and now have decided on either another set of Flexi lines or possibly combat orange/yellow combo. Who is a dealer of this brand in
the US? I can't find any.
I love the Flexis but would like some more color combos- I love the Climax orange!
Also if you fly them let me know if you like/dislike
I saw the Qline 1st hand today at my local shop- too much overkill for me! Too stiff and thick so it will limit my winds.sunset-Jim - 22-6-2009 at 10:20 AM
Try kitebuggyspeedshop.com
I just recently got a set myself and haven't had any problem with em. They seem to be pretty good. Quality made.beachrights - 22-6-2009 at 10:28 AM
I have not seen them live yet- are they like standard lines or are they like Q line -meaning stiff and have a plastic like coating?
Do you find them heavier than standard lines?
Thanksmarkite - 22-6-2009 at 10:36 AM
Are you in a shop that is selling Q-Power for surfing? You may be looking at the Q 600lb test line. The 600 lb comes in regular and Pro - the Pro line
is much thinner (and higher cost) than the regular Q-Power.
But for a foil we use the 300/200 Q-Power - that isn't that thick but it may cost more that some of the lines you see.f0rgiv3n - 22-6-2009 at 10:36 AM
dakitez also has the combat lines i have seen recently :roll:indigo_wolf - 22-6-2009 at 10:37 AM
"Climax lines are frost-resisting (to -36° C)"
Ricardo at RipSessionKites also carries Climax Combat.
Brrrrrr...... look for the hot cocoa coupons that obviously come with the lineset :wink2:

It was the regular 600lb orange stuff. The thing that got me was a spool-yes spool of 500ft was $24.99!! It looked like old stock meaning it was
sitting around for a while
I might just buy it to try it at that price!!DAKITEZ - 22-6-2009 at 10:58 AM
I have some climax lines available. They are super super thin. Complete opposite of the Q-line. I get my climax lines from a red bull addict who loves
to fly fast, so you know they don't have much drag or weight to them beachrights - 22-6-2009 at 12:39 PM

Most euro riders use Climax Lines ... we are the Supplier for Canada and USA.
pros:
- using a high quality fibre
- using advanced braiding techniques
- using line enhancement processes
- highly visable colour - Orange / Yellow
- A tighter braid reduces line cross-section by more than 50%
- pre-stretched with max load, ZERO stretch
- UV resistant / salt water resistant / colour fast
Sets come as 170/70 daN, 190/90 daN, 240/140 daN - in either 20 / 25 / 30m length.
colour sets, Dino @ Dakitez still has some of the lighter Orange - Power / White - Brake Sets, at a great price. If you want the Orange / Yellow sets,
he will take your order, and will be shipped direct to you from us.
my personal experience with them is a top quality line, dunno how they compare in price to other lines but they sure have lasted me a long time. I
have one set of lines that i take to NABX every year, and its been 4 years now and its still going strong. I had another rider in Alaska tell me how
many times he ran his ski blade edge over it until it broke.beachrights - 22-6-2009 at 03:38 PM
Ricardo-
Thanks for the great info. The more I read about these lines the more I like them. The only negative I found through you is the need
to sleeve them. Dinos site says ready to fly- does he sleeve them? I wrote to him this afternoon about the lines/ colors etc. so I will work through
him. I do not know how you two are connected but someone will be getting some money!!beachrights - 22-6-2009 at 03:45 PM
Edit-Ok- it would help if I payed attention to who I am writing to! I wrote to YOU [Ricardo] about the lines this afternoon and I see the post above
answers my questions. I got you and Dino mixed up. I also revisited Dinos site and see he has sleeved the lines. The only issue is they are 30m lines
and they are too long for me so I guess i will be looking at the orange/yellow combo through Dino. I will shut up now.:puzzled:doublespeed360 - 22-6-2009 at 03:51 PM
beachrights, got a close look at that line at nabx.i thinkyou will like them.me like ozone.ihave to sets of q line, an they love to sing.when can you
come up to nahant for a wicked good time.beachrights - 22-6-2009 at 04:00 PM
You make it stop raining and I will make me appear at Nahant!!! How about those winds today!?
I was in Brewster putting gas in my car at Cumbys and saw a huge pine tree come down from the wind! Must have been 50-60mph!doublespeed360 - 22-6-2009 at 04:02 PM
sleeving line is not a negative.knowledge is power ,good to know with all those little kids down in the cape on summer vacation.beachrights - 22-6-2009 at 04:17 PM
I have sleeved before but I am getting lazy these days! Looking for throw and go!indigo_wolf - 22-6-2009 at 04:19 PM

Does Sam like green eggs and ham sam I am?:bouncy:ripsessionkites - 22-6-2009 at 04:48 PM
sorry ... i should have made it clear more clearer.
the linesets come Pre-Sleeved on a winder, READY TO GO.
if you brought in Bulk Spools, than you would be required to sleeve on your own.
the heavier 240 / 140 is on back order, not many people require these. 240 dan = 528lb ... unless your buggy jumping. I used 175 / 70 the whole time
at NABX in those winds on the RIIs and Nitros. its okay to beef up, because they are thin enough.
sorry cant comment on the different line sounds. too busy going fast. i assume they whistle. LOL.
PS. just remember Dino wears the skirt. :moon:beachrights - 22-6-2009 at 06:16 PM
shoot me a U2U with prices on the 175 / 70 - 25m and the 190 / 90 - 25m and how and where to pay and if all is good i will take a set. One more thing-
colors orange/white or yellow?indigo_wolf - 22-6-2009 at 06:32 PM
