Friend wants an inexpensive used kite to get started, must be willing to ship to the ice floes (Canada)
Whats kicking around that you have outgrown?

i have a Peter Lynn Hornet 3.0 for $215.00 USD
used like twice for photos, and it also comes complete with handles / lines / ground stake / bag / instructions
plus shipping from BC to BC is cheap. LOL.

I have a package deal on some kites that sold but fell through. They are a Profoil 2.5m with speed lines and std profoil handles. I'll also throw in
a 3.5 profoil but it has had a major repair and isn't exactly pristine any more but it will fly. The 2.5 is in like new condition. I"ll take $100
for the whole kit plus shipping.

I have a red and white Pansh Ace 3.5m $120, I just bought this kite from Dakitez at the beginning of the year, there is absolutely nothing wrong with
it. I dont have a time or place to fly it anymore. It comes with the bag, kite, lines, handles, and HQ kite killers. No damage, it has been flown on a
grass lawn.
I have pics if you send me a U2U with your e-mail. I feel like crap selling this kite but I would rather have someone else take good care of it than
it sitting in my closet.

a solid 3m beamer for $140., just happened to see it come up a couple days back, I know nothing else about it except that they are solid kites but
that one is likely an earlier model.
jeez lotsa choices here, beamerbob's 2 profoils are the way to go I reckon.... he's pretty picky about his kites, I'd be surprised if the 3.5 didn't
fly at least OK, if not fine.
3.5 ace is a more challenging beast, a bad choice in inland winds, good if you are near onshore breezes or something similar ( a big lake?) It's also
the only one with significant lift (except possibly profoil 3.5 ?) and it's the wild child of the lot.
stings are OK but a bit twitchy, the profoils are at least their equal.
the two really nice kites are the brooza and the hornet, they are both very good traction kites for beginners, the brooza is a bit racier, the hornet
is solid and stable.
Now I've not flown these (except for a couple larger aces) but i've flown enough kites like them and heard enough about these in particular to be able
to give you a ballpark estimate of how they stand.
corrections and clarifications welcome!
hope all that helps. that's a lot to choose from, you're lucky!
