Climax Combat lineset review

Ricardo and Dino were nice enough to set me up with a 25m set of lines from Climax. :thumbup:My Flexi foil linesets were old and another broke a power line so I took a good look at all different linesets. I loved the Flexi set but thought a change would give me some more experiences with different products.

418/198 are the weights- strange amounts but hey- they work! I flew for the 1st time tonight in 10-15mph winds- I changed my new lines in my driveway and was impressed with the following:

-lines are slightly stiff- they have a plasticy coating that makes them slippery and tangle resistant. The stiffness makes pulling lines much easier!
- colors- orange for powers and yellow for brakes. So much easier to see!

flight: Great "feel' from these! No stretch or slackness. When the kite was powered up you felt more attached to it- hard to explain but I felt more connected to the kite than Flexi lines. Great lines to do tricks with! Snap them and the message comunicates to the kite with ease.

Hard to believe a set of lines would make a difference but I am quite impressed with these!

nice review *two thumbs up*

honestly most riders just think kite only but having a good setup with comfortable / good lenght handles and lines also play a key role in your kite performance and speed seeking goals.
