The Progression guys did a great job. I highly recommend their new landboarding DVD. You should be able to get it new for only 30ish bucks. Well worth the money if you're starting out. Looks like you're off to a good start with your new gear:thumbup:

Yeah just search Google for 'Progression Kite Landboarding' and you'll see which DVD we're talkin about. It's very thorough.

I just ordered the lanboarding dvd, should be here today. Their kitesurfing one are good, considered one of the out there, but it pretty dated and the production quality is suspect :) The lanboarding DVD was just produced do I have high expectation for it!

Man that is not cool. These guys work damn hard to make these videos. They don't make any money on them because how many snowkite DVD's can they really sell when the sport is so small. And then they have to deal with a$$holes ripping off their work.

$35 isn't going to break any kiters bank. These movies are made by kiters for kiters. So you are ripping off a fellow kiter when you offer to pirate their work.

I exchanged emails with the Fuze guys who made the excellent Cloud 9 snowkite DVD. I was so bummed when I heard that they weren't going to make any more films because there aren't enough sponsors and they can't sell enough of them to even break even. The final straw was when they found a torrent site letting people download Cloud9 for free.

And you too. Why don't you actually buy the video from the guys who put in a ton of hard work and money to make it. If you can't afford a lousy $35 for a video then you shouldn't get into kiting. Ripping peoples work off isn't cool. Especially when you are ripping off kiters. Here.....and look they take Paypal just like you wanted. http://www.snowkitefilm.no/paypal_buy.asp?location=2&pro...

And to answer your question I think that you can get Progression Landboarding DVD directly from Fat Sands, or if you are in the US I think that Side Off video has it or maybe one of the vendors on this site.

unfortunately you are sounding fairly immature and a bit of a jerk, so perhaps kiting is not for you?

Especially when its you asking for the help. In a public forum

So i think the word "Mummy" should have taught you is "Respect" and when to keep your mouth shut - cause its "smarter" to say nothing sometimes

pigryder - 7-7-2009 at 05:11 AM

You guys need to lighten up! I dont remember asking anyone to call people "#@%$#!s"

Kamikuza - 7-7-2009 at 05:22 AM

Piracy is illegal - same way that walking into a store and sticking the case up your shirt and walking out without paying is illegal ... why are you even discussing it in open forum?

I am surprised that some of the kite landboarding instructors haven't chimed in. My thoughts are that DVD's are great after you have had a basic lesson in kite safety and flying. It only takes one accident/incident to get power kiting banned in an area. No cutting corners when it comes to safety and wearing protective gear. Bump for "Power Kiting How To Guide DVD Set" By the by I paid more in customs for ordering it from Canada than what Drew is selling The Progressive Landboarding DVD for. Oh yea did I say that I had have a garage sale to get some money together to buy some of my gear. Cheers!
